Operant use in Editor

Is it possible to use the operant "|" in the editor under a string varible. I am trying to check if a variable is of two values and if not then do something else...example

If variable == a | b then do Y if false do Z

I've run into what appears to be an odd problem attempting to delete a Label from within a script I'm modifying.  I'm not certain what editor version the script was originally created in, but it's been modified by many hands (and one assumes editors) over the past 2 yrs.

I want to write a script for UCCX. When a customer calls to our Call Center, I want to classify who is the caller. Therefore, It is easier for us to support our customer according priority level. For example, VIPs don't have to listen the waiting ringing and transfer to our agents as soon as possible. And if he/she is a normal customer he/she must listen the waiting ringing.

So..Can you give me some advices? (solutions)

Hi Guys

I need to develop a script which

       1- place a call to a cell phone

       2- when the call is established, ask a question and wait a DTMF answer

I have therefore set up a script which uses 'PlaceCall' Step to place the call (it is working). Inisde the Successful branch, a 'Playprompt' or a 'GetDigitString' ends with an error 'Could not get dialog channel'.

Do you know what this error is or simply, if it is possible UCCX places a call and plays promt?

Hi,

Iam new to this UCCX domain iam learning my self about scripting techniques.So just i want to familiarize my self with various options in editor for that when i try to debug default script iam getting the error:Task16000000137 Acceptstep:trigger is not a Contact Application Trigger.Iam not doing a reactive debugging.

Can you explain basic details of step by step how to debug an application.

Iam reading Cisco Script editing Vol1,2,3 but i feel its not in detailed

Since i am new i have Heap of Doubts, i will come one by one.

 

CRS Script Editor Crashes after 14% with XP

Hi All,

I am new to this forums, and i appreciate the work you guys are doing, This is my first post.

I am using XP sp3 on my laptop and whenever i try to open script editor as anonmous user it just dies after 14%. I have saw couple of bugs which asks to change the setting of my desktop appearence to "Windows classic sytle" or changing the compatibilty under script editor properties to Windows 2000 but of no help

CRS version from where i downloaded editor is 5.0(1).

 

Can anyone help me whats wrong?

Has anyone ever tried to edit a script using UCCX script editor at a standalone configuration meaning without having the editor contact the UCCX server?

 

I like to work on scripts offline like on a plane. I know might need the server for some functions but i'm willing to live with errors as long as i can get some scripting done offline? Thanks in advance

 

Database Redundancy

Currently we have a pay by phone system that accesses a database.  We are going to setup a second database server at our DR site.  I would like to build this redundancy in the script.  My first thought is place commands under Connection Not Available each time a DB step was attempted.  Does anyone have a reccomendation of a more efficient way to go about this?  Has anyone done something like this before?

Using Expression and Expression Editor

Hi,

I'm new to the UCCX Script Editor.  Does anyone have documentation on how to use the Expression Editor within the Script Editor?  Or any experience using expressions in a UCCX script?

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
