How to enable the basic Recording/Monitoring built into UCCX. I am on version 7. If someone can point this out I will be eternally grateful.
good question jimbo, I would like to know as well. I am currently trying to figure this out as well. Will try to report back when I figure out how to do it.
Several main items need to be in place for you to do recording:
1. You must have activated Cisco Monitoring and Cisco Recording in the Component Activation page.
2. Set the number of simultaneous recordings under the Recording Count option in System Parameters Configuration.
(Items 1 & 2 are generally settings you do in the initial setup.)
3. Set recording in the call flow in CAD Administrator. (i.e. on answered event start recording)
4. Ensure Span to PC Port for the IPCC phone is set to Enabled on the Call Manager.
I think that pretty much the very basics in a nutshell.
