Unified Contact Center 8 Preview

Q2 of this year will bring about the biggest change in Cisco Unified Contact Center Express since the move from version 3 to 4. We will be migrating from a Windows 2003 platform to a Linux based hardened IPT OS. This operating system is under the hood the same OS which runs all the current Cisco UC applications such as Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connections, Presence, etc.
Recently as part of PACE ( Partner Alignment and Collaborative Excellence ), I was able to do a hands on 4 hour demo lab of UCCX 8. By the way, if you have not heard of PACE, ask your Cisco CAM or SE for more information. I am attaching a PDF listing out the big changes for UCCX 8.
I hope to have a Beta VM Image built and put up some tutorials on this subject soon!

Release Date?
Great site. Any luck on the beta VM image? Are there products codes available for UCCX 8 yet? Especially interested to see what the options are for offloading the reporting data for use with 3rd party reporting engines.
