UCCX 7.0 Integration not working
Hi guys, I followed Alex's Installation and Integration videos, and even so, I am still having problems. I created the AXL User on Call Manager, set its permission just like Alex mentioned. I can see the users being created on my Call Manager when I put the JTAPI and RmCM fields at the setup screen. But when I click on NEXT, I go to this address //172.30.0.15/appadmin/SystemParams?request_type=sysparams.setup.configure and the screen goes blank and nothing happens. I wonder what I am doing wrong or what I have missed, but I don't see anything different from what Alex said. I've read a lot of Cisco documents and all the steps they give us are just the same as Alex's videos. Can someone please help me? :)

Problem Solved, now another problem...
Alex,
The main problem is that I didn't have the SEAT licenses. I only had the Enhanced license... When I added the SEAT liceses I was finally able to integrate properly.
Now there is another problem: It gives me the following warning everytime I log in: "Cisco JTAPI Client
An error has occurred while trying to resynchronize the Cisco JTAPI Client. Please try Cisco JTAPI Resync in Cisco Unified CCX Administration again." So, I connect to the Cisco Unified CM Telephony Subsystem and I press the Cisco JTAPI Resync, but the same error persists.
I followed the instructions on this page: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-13222 but I still have the same issue. Nothing happened when I changed the versions on JTAPI. What else should I do???
Thanks for the help, guys!!!
Resolution?
Hi Guys,
Did you manage to solve this issue? I am having exactly the same problem only my issue is with version 8.0(2) which is Linux based. I would be very greatful if anyone could reply with a resolution or point me in the right direction.
Many Thanks
Martin

Upgrade CCX5 EHA to CCX802 EHA failed
Hi,
I am experiencing a problem while upgrading CCX 5 enhanced HA to CCX 802.
We got the backup from CCX5 using the Upgrade tool from windows to linux. The installation process has been completed successfully.
Now, one the new installation server we select Upgrade from Previous version, enter the SFTP and backup location and use the new license.
While on Upgrade Setup site we got the error attached “Status: Phase 1 of Windows to Linux Upgrade failed”
FAILED : Pre-check for Windows to Linux Upgrade operation failed.
FAILED : Phase 0 (Windows to Linux Upgrade pre-check) of Windows to Linux Upgrade
Phase0 and Phase1 Upgrade logs are collected under the /opt/cisco/uccx/log/W1Upgrade folder. Save the zipped logs for future troubleshooting.
Does anyone knows how we can obtain the logs in order to locate the problem?
If I try to use the “Fresh Install” method then we proceed up to the point where we are able to configure the RM and CTI user.
Regards
A little help...
aedamasceno,
Couple things here....
1. What is the exact version of CUCM that you are running ( ie 7.1.3?)
2. What is the exact version of CRS you are trying to integrate (ie 7 ).
3. Have you created the App user under Application User? Does that user account have AXL Api access enabled? Watch 3:00min mark in the part 1 of my video integrating UCCX 7 if you have not done that step. The user account must have a group with a role that allows AXL API Access.
4. When you created the JTAPI and RMCM accounts, did you do this via the setup on the CRS or did you create them on the CUCM server? You DO NOT set them up on the CUCM Server first, the CRS setup does this for you.
5. Do you have valid licenses? Have you uploaded the proper license?
6. When you created the CM Telephony user account ( JTAPI ) on the CRS setup screen, did you select the sub then pub, and key in a user name? If so are you seeing that user account created on the CUCM server? When you get to the bottom of the screen and after you have fillled out NTP and RMCM user account info, when you click next what is the exact error you are recieving?
There are installation logs on the CRS server, have you tried pulling them? Are you doing this via VM Ware or on a actual server?
HTH,
Alex
re:
Thanks Alex for your post. I am sorry I took so long to give an answer. What happens is that I am integrating a full Unified Communications solution, and when I finished Unity I was excited to start UCCX, but it was giving me too much trouble, so I gave it up for that moment. Now I am returning because this is the last server on my project. I made a fresh install, and the same problem persists. Now I am gonna answer your questions:
1. What is the exact version of CUCM that you are running ( ie 7.1.3?)
7.0.2.20000-5. I know this is not the latest version of version 7, but we are taking care of that. :)
2. What is the exact version of CRS you are trying to integrate (ie 7 ).
I am not sure where to look at that version. The CD I have here is for UCCX 7.0. It doesn't specify the version.
3. Have you created the App user under Application User? Does that user account have AXL Api access enabled? Watch 3:00min mark in the part 1 of my video integrating UCCX 7 if you have not done that step. The user account must have a group with a role that allows AXL API Access.
Yes, that was the first thing done.
4. When you created the JTAPI and RMCM accounts, did you do this via the setup on the CRS or did you create them on the CUCM server? You DO NOT set them up on the CUCM Server first, the CRS setup does this for you.
I let the CRS create it for me.
5. Do you have valid licenses? Have you uploaded the proper license?
Yes, and it even gives me the message saying the license is valid and everything...
My sub is broken and haven't been fixed yet. Something with its PSU, it's not up to me to fix it, so I am working only with my Pub. I don't receive any errors. The screen just goes blank and it stops. The server is working, not frozen, CPU with low usage, but nothing happens...
Any ideas??

I'm looking to do the same thing, sort of. We are looking to use the Create New Document mechanism to do an HTTP POST to a CRM system handler that'd write that call data to a database. Were you able to get this to work? I think you are required to specific a "doc" to write the response data back to, which I'm hoping will automagically make this work. The editor documentation doesn't mention what the timeout setting is measured in, but I'm presuming it's milliseconds, with 0 being no timeout (I hope).646-204 ccde ccent ccie ccna certification ccnp certification ccsp certification ccvp certification ex0-350 ex0-101
