Monitoring and Recording IP Communicator users over the WAN

Is it possible to monitor and/or record agents that are using Cisco IP Communicator and are connecting to UCCX over a software VPN (Juniper Network Connect)?  I've seen that it's possible for one of these VPN-enabled agents to use Cisco Supervisor Desktop to monitor other agents that are physically on the same LAN as the UCCX servers, but it seems that they are unable to be monitored themselves.  Documentation on monitoring CIPC agents is dodgy at best, so I'm reaching out to see if anyone's actually doing it now.
