HA Installstallation Replication Issues
Hi Chap
Not sure if this is correct forum for this kind of question but seen as we dont have an installation section here goes.
Has anyone ever added a second server to a cluster and the Datastore control section did not get setup? I.E. You can only see the publisher no subscribers.
I have checked through the SQL and found no publications in there at all so i am guessing this is the first issue that needs resolving. Another Question. Has anyone ever re-created the replication publications on a UCCX cluster?
Any help would be great guys, learning experience for me as i have never had to do this before, going to speak to TAC too so if i get any where will try and post back with results.

It seems I have figured this out.
There were 4 components not activated on the secondary server. I activated these by logging into CRS, going to system - control center - component activation. The activated components on the primary and secondary server should match. These are the 4 I was missing that were causing me not see any publications or subscriptions under SQL enterprise manager:
CRS Agent Datastore
CRS Config Datastore
CRS Historical Datastore
CRS Repository Datastore
After activating tese 4 components I had to run the Cisco CRS Update Tool on both servers which can be found under: Start - All Programs - Cisco CRS Administrator - Cisco CRS Update Tool
Although it didn't look like it ran it created the SQL publications and subscriptions.
Now when looking in CRS under System - Datastore Control Center I see a publication and subscription agent. The publication shows stopped and the subscription shows running. This appears to be normal after looking through some help documentation. I also manually checked the tables with SQL enterprise manager and everything appears to be replicating fine.

Did you manage to find a solution to this? I am experiencing similar issues...
Although both nodes come up in the control center for starting/stopping services with the expected master/slave relationship, I only see the publication node under the datastore control section. Also, when I check SQL enterprise manager there is no replication configured and the database tables on the secondary node are blank.
