I found out the hard way that Cisco changed the default TCP Port used for SQL External Database access to port 4433. Changing it to 1433 allowed my Database Subsystem to come into service. Anyone else experienced this?
I remember they used to publish a list of "well known ports" for Cisco UC products. I know they had one for CUCM but I cannot remember seeing one for CRS since the 5.x days. I will check the web and see if I can find one. If I do I will post it.
The default SQL installation is still using 1433, which I think is strange on Cisco's part to do this. How did you find it? MIVR logs, or wireshark, etc?
