Agent call transfer

Does UCCX have the ability for the agent to transfer the call to an outside line and then drop off the call, leaving the caller and the added party connected?  I am being told that it is not possible.

We have customers call in to the call center and then we want to transfer them to a regional location to talk the specifics of the issue.  The agent does not need to stay connected to the conversation.

I am being told by the person that designed the system that this is not possible.

I think that is possible, you have to redirect the call to another agent wich are not busy and has ability to forward the call to out witout to open session .
Think about this scenariu.
